ABOUT THE ARTIST
My name is Erin. I have been crafting for as long as I can remember. I learned how to crochet from my mom and sew from my dad. I have dabbled in jewelry-making and painting. I enjoy a variety of sculpture mediums including resin, clay, yarn, wood, and fabric.
I will tell you I am first and foremost a crochet artist who loves making Gnomes, though my passion as a doll maker goes back further than that. My first books were basically doll house miniatures for Gnomes with Tomes. I was a dollmaker before I was a bookbinder.
My relationship with dolls and books is a long and complicated one. I am passionate about both and I particularly love producing items that are both beautiful and functional.
I started learning about herbs and aromatherapy in 2005. I love incorporating plant energies into useful personal care products.
I am a wife and mother who has lived on the Eastern Shore of the U.S. all my life. I enjoy running, kayaking, sailing, and yoga.
Leaf: Handbound journals made with leaves of paper, essential oils made with leaves (and other parts!) of plants.
Yard: Yards of fabric become dolls, yards of yarn become Gnomes and other useful things.
